Abraham (Pa) Bender

In May 2006, Abraham decides that it's time for another hunt, and he takes Lee and Jared out to the town to pick a prey. Hiding under a car, the prey spots them and tries to run, but they grab him and pull him under to capture him. They drive away in their old camper truck. For a week they feed the prey in his cage.

After about a week, Abraham decides it's time to grab another prey and he takes his boys to Kugel's Keg. They find a young man, tall, and nab him, driving away in their old camper truck. The next day they feed the first prey for the last time. That night Abraham gives his boys permission to go on a hunt, and they let out their first prey. His death scream is heard, and it makes Pa proud of his boys.

The next day a lady cop shows up on his front porch, asking questions. He hits her with a shovel to knock her out, and tells Missy to go tell the boys he wants to see them. He is angry. When they show up, he tells them to go find her car and hide it like the rest of the cars. He, himself, takes the cop to the cage and puts her in, until he decides on what to do about this.

He continues cutting up the prey from the previous night's hunt listening to music. No use letting good meat go to waste, nor anything else they could use off of their prey - teeth, bones, brains, organs, etc. Suddenly Missy is screaming Daddy, and Lee and Jared are fighting someone. He grabs an iron frying pan, and sneaks up behind him as he's threatening Pa's boys, and Abraham hits him over the head to knock him out.

Later the boy awakens, tied to a chair to find Pa and his family watching him. The brothers want to hunt him, after all, he's a fighter and should be fun. He realizes they hunt humans for fun. Pa boasts that his family has been hunting and killing humans for generations, giving the prey a fighting chance, and only hunt one or two a year to not get sloppy. He claims they are sloppy. Pa wants to know if more cops are coming looking for him (Dean). He replies with sarcasm. Pa claims they will have a hunt, and for the boy (Dean) to name who gets to be the animal - the boy (Sam) or the cop. Eventually, he says no one else is coming, but Abraham doesn't care. He takes a red hot poker to him and burns his shoulder with it, threatening next time to take an eye. He gets respect, after all! The boy (Dean) chooses the boy (Sam). Pa tosses the key to his son Lee and tells him not to let him out, but to shoot him in the cage, and then shoot the bitch too. Lee leaves.

Back in the house Dean hears the shot and screams 'You hurt my brother, I'll kill you, I swear. I will kill you all!' Pa ignores the boy's threats, calling for Lee. Since Lee doesn't reply, Pa tells Missy to watch him, and he and Jared grab guns to head for the barn. Pa and his son Jared go out to investigate and find Lee, unconscious, and the power cut off. They separate to search better. Abraham spots Sam, firing his gun, but Sam ducks and runs. Jared tussles with Kathleen, and prepares to shoot her. Sam, who is continually being shot at by Abraham, runs in and manages to distract Jared, and as he turns to fire Sam ducks, causing Jared to shoot his father in the shoulder.

Sam knocks Jared out and locks him in the other cage. The bitch takes one of the men's rifles, saying she'll watch Abraham, telling Sam to go get Dean. When Sam's gone, Abraham tells her that he's going to bleed her because she hurt his family. She wants to know why he killed her brother. He replies, 'Because it's fun.' When he laughs about killing her brother, she shoots him.
