In June or July 2006, Ann is giggling while Mark adjusts the family portrait they bought at the charity auction. She wonders if it's creepy, but Mark tells her he'll keep her safe while they flirt. He goes to lock up while she runs upstairs to get ready for bed. A shadow appears at the bedroom door, right before her candle is blown out.
Her throat is slit open by Melanie Merchant.
