Biography
The afternoon of March 23, 2006 Larry Pike, the developer of the community of Oasis Plains, is holding a barbeque. Lynda is there, mixing and mingling, working the curious, to sell a few more homes. As she is working the crowd, Lynda meets Dean and Sam, obviously a homosexual couple looking for their new home. Joanie, Larry’s wife, makes a not quite so nice comment about how noisy Lynda is as a neighbor, before moves off, and Lynda is able to give Sam the sales pitch for Oasis Plains. Before she is quite done, however, he excuses himself and she wanders over to the next possible new homeowner.
That evening, as she is relaxing before taking a shower, she is watching TV about the outbreak of West Nile virus from the increased mosquito population. There are plans to spray pesticide. Absently Lynda swipes a hand across her face to stop a strange itch, when she realizes it was a spider that had been crawling across her head! Agitated, she turns off the TV and heads for her wonderful steam shower. While rinsing her hair, however, she is horrified to see hundreds of spiders coming into her shower from behind the shower head! She is deathly afraid of these things, and in her rush to leave the shower, after slipping a couple of times on the floor of the shower, she crashes through the glass shower door, cutting herself. She manages to try to grab a towel, but only stumbles a few more feet before she falls over, dead.
Quotes
- Lynda: Well, let me just say that we accept homeowners of any race, religion, color, or... sexual orientation.
Dean smiles sarcastically and chuckles.
Dean: Right. Um... I'm gonna go talk to Larry. (to Sam) Okay, honey?
He walks away, smacking Sam on his ass.

Trivia
- Carrie Genzel also played the mother in Just My Imagination
- When Carrie was practicing her scene with the spiders, Kim wanted her mouth open. He told her it was okay, because spiders don't like damp places so she licked her lips a lot beforehand. Then one of the spiders went into her ear. Carrie mentions this, trying not to freak out because she's planning to have spiders crawl all over her on camera, and Kim look in her ear and says, "Oh yeah, it's really in there." Taking the end of a Bic pen, he puts it in her ear and out scoops the spider. He promised when they were shooting he was going to put earplugs in. - Fangasm! - "So they had the bug guy laying on the bed behind me, and they fed a tube through the back of my costume up through my hair to the front of my hairline and then they would put a spider in my hair with the tube, and then he would blow through the tube to make the spider run... The spider would just run willy nilly so we had to keep doing it over and over again until it like ran in a place that looked good. But because of that, because he's laying there blowing into this tube, you get it full of spit, it's like coming down my forehead... And then I had to like swipe the spider off in a very specific way so I didn't hurt or kill it, so it was pretty awkward. They were like, you have to scoop... but again, they were like, Carrie you're a superhero!" - Carrie Genzel - Fangasm! - Shooting the scene with the camera panning down Lynda's naked body with the spiders, Kim filmed it twice just to be sure, then it took 30 minutes to get all the spiders off the actress. It took three people with plastic spoons to scoop them up, one at a time, to put them back because the spiders are so fragile. - Fangasm!
