Neil Levine

Angela walks in on Matt with another girl, and she runs to Neil for her woes. Neil lays out the perfect night to help her get over Matt - booze, chocolate, tortured emo rock - but she still only sees him as a good friend. Matt comes pounding on the front door, so Neil gets up to deal with him. He tells Matt to chill out and think, and to see Angela some other time, but Matt tells him to get out of his face and he pushes his way into the house. They find Angela gone, however.

Neil finds out later Angela crashed her car and died. He goes to the funeral. Later, he digs Angela up and draws symbols on her coffin during the ritual to raise her from the dead. When it works, he brings her back to his house and sets her up in the basement where he has a place for her.

Two grief counselors from the college show up a week after Angela's death to make sure he was doing okay. They also brought up Matt's death, but Neil corrected them. Matt didn't kill himself out of grief - he killed himself out of guilt, because Angie's death was his fault. She was torn up over Matt cheating on her, and that's why she crashed the car. Neil has to get ready for work, so he assures them he'll be okay and leaves them on the front porch.

That night Neil comes into the house, and unlocks the door before heading to the basement where Angela is sitting on the cot. She crosses the room, tells him she misses him, and then they start kissing.

The next night they talk about Matt again, but Angela claims they wasted enough time talking about him, because Matt didn't deserve her. Neil tries to ask politely if she got out to see Matt, and she claims she's been there the whole time. How could he think such a thing? But Neil sees that she's different. She claims it's because he's the only one who has really loved her. They smile.

Later Neil is at work in Dr. Mason's office when Angela shows up. She has to hide immediately, though, because the two grief counselors show up, claiming they know everything. That Angela killed Matt, and she tried to kill Lindsey, but Neil doesn't know what they are talking about. Dean tries to forcibly make Neil tell them where she is, and Neil lies, saying she's at his house. Dean realizes Neil's lying, and tries to make him come with them, but Neil refuses. They have another ritual to do over the grave, and Angela will be dead again. They leave, and Neil confronts Angela in the closet. She shows him where she's hurt and begs him to help her kill them to stop them. Neil realizes everything is true about Matt and Lindsey, and agrees to help her. He tells her to wait, and he heads out to get the car. However, before he can leave, Angela is there and realizes he's leaving her, so she kills him.
