Dean and Sam show up June or July 2006, asking about information about Isaiah Merchant family. Darryl dug up every scrap of local history, including the crime about them. They ask about details, which Darryl is happy to give. The whole family was killed. It seems Isaiah slits his kids' throats, then his wife, then himself with a straight razor he would use in his barber trade. There were whispers that the wife was going to take the kids and leave, and with Isaiah having a stern and harsh temperament controlling his family with an iron fist, he just gave them all a "shave". Darryl laughs, as does Dean. Sam asks if there was anything else, and he shows them the picture of the family. Sam asks if they could get a copy of the picture. He is glad to do so, and they leave.
