Chapter 4 records his court, his prosperity and his wealth. Note who was in his court, many of whom were also in David's court:
Notice the bounds of his kingdom. His kingdom ran from the Euphrates River on the east to the Mediterranean Sea on the west. From Phoenicia on the north to Egypt on the south. He also reigned over the neighboring kingdoms and there was peace on all sides.
Finally, he was available at all times for counseling. He was visited by thousands seeking the benefit of his wisdom. He wrote 3,000 proverbs and 1,005 songs. He had a natural insight into the mysteries of nature and in all, God blessed him.
