The material here is repeated from I Kings 7 .
Chapter 4 gives an account of the furnishings of the Temple.
Of interest is the reference to Huram, King of Tyre, as "father of the craftsman", being one himself who worked in designing and creating the furnishings of the Temple, also Solomon's generosity in the supplying of vessels for the Temple, having them made in great quantity and stored as replacements when others worn out. Notice in reference to Huram, the master craftsman, who personally designed and built all of the furnishings outside the Temple that were made of bronze. Those that were inside were made of gold.
