Chapter 10 continues the sermon by Moses and his emphasis on God's mercy and their unworthiness.

1. He reminds them of the Covenant.
2. He reminds them of God's direction and care.
3. He reminds them of God's choosing of Priests to intercede for them.

All this should make them fear, love and serve God.
