Chapter 30 is so needful after reading Chapter 29. Chapter 29 leaves Israel in a desperate and unattainable position, but Chapter 30 brings hope spelled out in the plan of God to bring mercy to the people in the "Latter Days".
Verses 1 thru 10 promises exceeding great joy upon their repentance and return to Him. Verses 11 thru 14 describes the righteousness that will be imputed to them by faith in those days. Verses 15 thru 20 describes how Moses has fairly and as plainly as he knew how, put before them the laws and statutes of God and the blessings of obedience and the judgments of disobedience. Thus it now is up to them to choose and he hopes that they will choose well.
