Some Wise Advice
In this chapter, the author seems to have a change of mind. He recommends
wisdom as a powerful antidote to the temptations that arise in this world to be
vain. Some wise advice is given here.
- Keep in subjection to the government that God has set over us.
- Get ready for sudden evils, particularly death.
- Arm yourself for some form of oppressive government, it may very
well come.
- Cheerfully use the gifts of God's providence.
- Be always in God's will and be assured that it is wise, just and
good.
