The Temple Further Described
This chapter continues to its conclusion, the measurements of the mystical
Temple which is very hard to visualize its particular architecture and even
more hard to comprehend the meaning of it. In this chapter we have:
- A description of the chambers that were about the court of the
Temple and the use to which they were to be put. Apparently there
were chambers about the Temple that were for the public use in
education. Multitudes, by faith, took lodging in these chambers
perhaps referring to the "many mansions" that are in our Father
House.
- A survey of the ground upon which these structures were to be built.
The courtyard is 500 reeds square, approximately 4500 feet square.
This symbolizes the extent of the Church to the Gentiles in Gospel
times.
