Let Your Light Shine

Now lets look at the second of these things. What is the sign that God expects from us that is evidence of our faith? It is the serious practice of or religion and an openness to all divine truth. God had sent the "light". He was in their presence. God did not put that "light under a bushel. But to perceive light, one must have "sight". If the eye of the soul is clear, it will receive things as they are, but if it is pre-conceived, it cannot see the truth. So if the eye of the soul is evil, if the understanding be prejudiced against divine truths, the whole body shall be full of darkness. So let your light shine as evidence of your faith.
