This study was developed after 30 some years of research, prayer, and teaching, all done under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. It has been my goal since the beginning to glorify God and to teach His Word in a simple and interesting manner. My hope is that you will find that this effort meets those parameters.
It is my further hope that this study will be used by those of you who are seeking to have moments of quiet time and inspiration as well as those who may be looking for help in the study of the Word for your own enlightenment or, as teachers, for the enlightenment of others. Please feel free to use any of this material, at your own discretion. I will tell you ahead of time, that my background is Presbyterian and Southern Baptist and, as such, is Calvinistic in doctrine. You may find this evident in the commentary on the New Testament.
