Assurance of Great Blessings

Click here to read Isaiah 44.

This chapter continues with the theme of the last, the redeeming Grace of God and, in this case, the instrument that God would use to accomplish their release from captivity in Babylon.

Here the Author assures them of great blessings that await them on their return to Judah after their release. These being symbolic of the blessings promised in the Messianic Age, the coming of The Christ. Here he again shows the folly of putting any hope of help from idols, the folly of idols and the folly of idol worshippers.
