Temporary Quarters

Click here to read Jeremiah 16.

In this chapter Jeremiah is instructed not to have a home of his own nor was he to take part in any mourning or feast celebrations. This was to show the greatness of the judgment that was soon to come upon the nation of Judah. Some hope is given as a possible good result of their judgment should it prove to be an instrument of reformation of sinners. If and when this takes place they will then return to a place of favor before God.
