Wicked Prophets and Priests

Here Jeremiah deals with false prophets and priests. Those who made a show of caring for their flocks but in reality were derelict in their duty and false in their proclamations. Jeremiah was amazed at their "pretended" inspirations and tells them they will surly be punished for them. Some were even guilty of persecuting God's rightful messengers in order to protect their false teachings and positions of power.
