Continuing with Jeremiah's hope for the future and his efforts to encourage those who were in captivity, he assures them that God will return their children to their own country and make them a great and happy nation again. His covenant with them would be renewed that He would in due time, send a Messiah to establish a "Kingdom of Grace", and that they would repent and be restored with God's blessings that would be to them and their children.
