Chapter 25 records a short reply by Bildad to Job's last remarks. He reminds Job that there is distance between man and God which should make us think more highly and honorably of Him and more lowly and humbly of ourselves.
In this chapter, Bildad makes this assessment of God:
He is powerful and dreadful. He enforces peace in Heaven. His Angels are numberless. His light shines upon the earth. Mere man cannot stand before him. Who, on earth, can boast of being clean and righteous in His sight?
