Chapter 36 continues with Eli-hu's council of Job. His purpose being to get Job to submit to the hand of God. "Let me continue, for I have not finished defending God." "I will give you many illustrations of the righteousness of my Maker." "God is almighty yet He does not despise anyone." "He is perfect in His understanding." "He does not reward the wicked nor does He ignore the good." "If troubles come upon men He takes the time to show them where they error." "If they then listen and mend their ways He will forgive then and return their blessings." "If they do not listen to him He will punish them." "God wanted to lead you into great understanding but you have been so preoccupied with your grievances that you can not comprehend His teachings." "Be careful, don't let your anger for others lead you into scoffing God." "God is so great that we cannot begin to know Him." "May all sinners be warned."
