Further Instructions

Chapter 24 gives further instructions on the Lamp and the Bread of the Presence.

1. Pure oil from crushed olives was to be furnished to Aaron that the Lamp might be keep burning continuously.
2. Twelve cakes shall be baked of 2/10s of an ephah of flour (almost 4 qts.) per cake and set on the table of the Bread of the Presence in two rows of 6 each along with pure frankincense. The cakes were to be replaced each week.

Further statutes given to Moses:

1. He who blasphemes God's name shall be stoned to death.
2. He who kills a man shall be put to death.
3. He who kills a beast shall make restitution.
4. He who causes a disfigurement to his neighbor shall have the same thing done to him.
