After the Judgment will come the restoration. Comfort is promised here in Chapters 4 and 5. A prophecy is made about Jerusalem, "In the last days, Mount Zion will be the most renowned of all the mountains. It will be phrased by all nations. People from all over the world will come to see it. In those days the whole world will be ruled by the Lord from Jerusalem. He will arbitrate among the nations, they shall no linger fight each other. Everyone one will live quietly in his own home in peace and prosperity. In that day the Lord will bring back his punished people and make them strong again in their own land. O Jerusalem, the Watch Tower of God's people, your royal might and power will come back to you again.
But for now, groan in your terrible pain, you must leave this city and dwell in a foreign land, in exile in Babylon but there I will rescue you and free you from your enemies. There are many nations who are against you but they do not know my plan. The time will come when the Lord will gather together the enemies of His people like sheaves upon the threshing floor. They will be helpless before Israel. Rise up, O Daughter of Zion, for you will trample to pieces many people and you will give their wealth as an offering to the Lord.
