Chapter 5 is a parallel to chapter 21 in Revelation. An order is given to remove all "unclean" people from the camp. In Revelation, John, speaking of the New Jerusalem, says, "No unclean thing shall enter". Those removed from the camp were ceremonially unclean, having touched dead bodies etc. They would remain outside the camp until they were cleansed according to the Law. Also in chapter 5 are laws concerning wrongs done to a neighbor and the trial of a wife suspected of adultery.
