Instructions on three Offerings
Chapter 29 deals with the conclusion of these ordinances concerning
offerings and feasts. Three Offerings:
- The Feast of Trumpets Offering. On the first day of the seventh
month, trumpets would be blown and a burnt offering offered. One
young bull, one ram, 7 male lambs and a cereal and drink offering.
- The Day of Atonement Offering. On the 10th day of the seventh
month, they would humble themselves and offer as a burnt offering,
one young bull, one ram, 7 male lambs and a cereal and drink
offering.
- The Feast of Tabernacles Offering. On the 15th. day of the seventh
month, they would have an 8 day feast.
- On the first day, they would offer 13 male bulls 2 rams, 14
male lambs and one male goat as a sin offering and the usual
cereal and drink offering.
- On the second day, they would offer the same accept the young
bulls would be reduced from 13 to 12.
- On the third day, they would offer the same accept the young
bulls would be reduced from 12 to 11.
- On the fourth day, they would offer the same accept the young
bulls would be reduced from 11 to 10.
- On the fifth day, they would offer the same accept the young
bulls would be reduced from 10 to 9.
- On the sixth day, they would offer the same accept the young
bulls would be reduced from 9 to 8.
- On the seventh day, they would offer the same accept the young
bulls would be reduced from 8 to 7.
- On the eighth day, they would offer one young bull, one ram, 7
male lambs and one goat for a sin offering and the usual
cereal and drink offerings
These offerings were to be made in addition to the usual vow, free will,
burnt, grain, drink and peace offerings.
