Word Without Wisdom is of little Value

Here, Solomon reminds us that wisdom is two fold. It must be found in the Word, for the Word to be considered a part of Wisdom. Likewise, Wisdom without Word is of little value.

Verses 1 thru 2, declare that "Divine Revelation" is the Word of God and pure religion is based on that Word. It is faithful and just, and is our rule of faith and practice.

Verses 3 thru 21, declares that God speaks to us through the Word. He instructs, governs and blesses his children through it.

Verses 22 thru 31, declares that God' Word was passed on to us by the Second Person of the Trinity, who is Wisdom himself.

Verses 32 thru 36, is a repeated charge for us to attend the Word diligently and listen to the council of the Lord.
