  1. A wise Son listens to his Father's instruction but a scorner ignores council.
  2. A man shall eat well by the fruit of his mouth but the transgressor shall eat violence.
  3. He that keeps his mouth shut has life but he that talks shall have destruction/
  4. He who works shall be fed but he who does not work will be wanting.
  5. A righteous man hates lying but a wicked man will come to shame.
  6. Righteousness keeps a man straight but wickedness overturns the sinner.
  7. There are those with much who are poor and those who have nothing that are rich.
  8. The measure of a man's life is his riches but the poor man is not held to rebuke.
  9. The light of the righteous shines but the light of the wicked is put out.
  10. Pride causes contentions but humility brings wisdom.
  11. Growth by vanity shall decrease but growth by labor shall increase.
  12. Delayed hope makes the heartsick but when that hope comes it is the tree of life.
  13. He that despises the Word shall be destroyed but he that fears and obeys the commandment shall be rewarded.
  14. The way of the wise is life that departs from the snares of death.
  15. Good understanding keeps you in good stead but the way of the transgressor is hard.
  16. The prudent man deals in knowledge but the fool deals in folly.
  17. A wicked messenger falls into mischief but a faithful one is of great help.
  18. Poverty and shame goes to him that refuses instruction but he that accepts it shall be honored.
  19. Work accomplished is sweet to the soul but for the fool it is evil
  20. He that walks with wise men is wiser but he that walks with fools shall be destroyed.
  21. The wicked gets evil for evil but the righteous shall be repaid with good things.
  22. A good man leaves his wealth to his children's children but the wicked leaves only that which id judged.
  23. The food of the poor must be carefully dolled out.
  24. Spare the rod and spoil the son. He that loves his child chastens him.
  25. What the righteous eats satisfies but the wicked eats and still wants.
