In this chapter we have recorded another 27 doctrines of Solomon.

  1. Boast not about tomorrow for we know not what tomorrow will bring.
  2. Do not phrase yourself, but let another man phrase you.
  3. A fool's wrath is weightier than sand or stone.
  4. Wrath and Anger are cruel but who can stand before envy.
  5. Open rebuke is better than secrete love.
  6. A friends council is better than an enemies kiss.
  7. A full soul is not conducive to council but to a hungry soul everything is sweet.
  8. A man out of his environment is like a bird out of its nest.
  9. A friends cheerful council is like perfume, it rejoices the heart.
  10. Better is a neighbor that is near than a brother that is a far off.
  11. My son be wise that I might stand before those who doubt my ability to raise children.
  12. A wise man recognizes evil and stays away from it but the fool continues on and is punished.
  13. Do not lend money unless they give you good security.
  14. Give everyone their just due; false phrasing can become a curse.
  15. The rain on a rainy day and the words of a grievous woman are alike, they cannot be stopped.
  16. A wise man would hide a grievous woman if he could but that is as impossible as hiding the results of the wind.
  17. Wise discourse with others sharpens our wits like iron sharpens iron.
  18. The tender of trees shall eat the fruit there of and the faithful servant shall be honored.
  19. As the reflection of the face is true so is the heart of man.
  20. The heart of a carnal man is never satisfied just as hell is never full.
  21. As silver and gold is refined by fire so a man is by phrase.
  22. Rough and sever methods must be used on the foolish to deter his disobedience.
  23. Be constantly aware of the well being of your herds.
  24. Like riches and the crown, nothing endures from one generation to another.
  25. By the providence of God nature provides to those who cultivate.
  26. Lambs are raised for clothing and rams for wages.
  27. Goats are raised for their milk.
