Why God Terries

Click here to read Psalms 13.

Psalm 13 Author David. The prayer for God's answer...now. It was written to the chief musician. It begins on a note of sadness; feeling that God had forsaken him, but ends on a note of joy and triumph believing that God's help was eminent.

In this Psalm, David becomes both counseled and councilor. Here David is feeling sorry for himself. He complains that God has left him and terries purposely His coming back to relieve him. He earnestly pleads his case and asks for a speedy resolution of it. Then he assumes the role of council and assures himself that God will answer and that peace is forth coming and will be just in a matter of time. Patience, peace is on the way.
