Pray Without Ceasing

Click here to read Psalms 70.

Psalm 70 Author David. Prayer for the poor and needy. Written to the chief musician with instructions that it was to be sung as a reminder to us and the people of Israel that we are to pray without ceasing over and over again to God for our needs because, like David, we too are often "poor" and "in need".

This Psalm is copied almost word for word from the 40th. Psalm. Many believe that for that reason, the Psalm is often called "A Psalm to Bring to Remembrance". Here David again prays for help for himself, ruin to his enemies and joy for his friends. It is a Psalm that we can apply to ourselves whatever our problem is.
