David's Promises to God

Psalm 75 Author A-saph. God is the Judge. It appears to have been dictated to A-saph by David. Here David thanks God for bringing him to the throne of Israel. He promises God:

1. To work for the good of the people.
2. To use the power God had given him to oppose evil.

He acknowledges the hand of God in the affairs of Israel for truly God was the Judge of Israel. In the reading of this Psalm we must give God the glory for all the events of Providence which work for the best of His Church.
