A Writ of Protection

Click here to read Psalms 91.

Psalm 91 Author unknown. Abiding in the Shadow of the Almighty. No specific instructions to the Chief Musician. This Psalm may have been written by David. It has been called a "writ of protection" for all true believers.

The Psalmist professes his belief in God as his keeper and claims the promises that are his by faith:

  1. The protection and care of heaven.
  2. The deliverance from the powers of darkness.
  3. The care of Holy Angels.
  4. The triumph over enemies.
  5. The special favorites of God.

This, he says, is available to all who sincerely claim the name of the Lord.
