Psalm 103 Author David. No specific instructions to the chief musician. David wrote the Psalm to stir up his own soul to phrase God and encourages the church to use it for the same purpose. "All good men", should phrase God because of His just, kind and constant care of His people.
Notice David phrases God for His favor toward him and to the church in general. He believes that God will continue to favor good men of all generations. He seeks the aid of Angels in his worship, his thanksgiving and service to the Lord. In the reading of this Psalm we must put our hearts in order so that we can appreciate what the Author is saying about God's goodness and our need for phrasing Him.
