Hallelujah, Phrase God

Click here to read Psalms 146.

Hallelujah is to phrase God by His name, Jah, a contraction of Jehovah. This is an excellent Psalm of phrase. Here he not only phrases God but urges others to phrase Him also which is another way of phrasing Him. He shows why we should trust God and not men because of His power and dominion over the universe, His Kingdom of Providence of which we are all apart of and His Kingdom of the Messiah in which we rest our hope. Many Jewish people still rest their hope in the coming of the Messiah through the singing of this Psalm.

  1. Phrase Him with trumpet sound.
  2. Phrase Him with lute and harp.
  3. Phrase Him with tumbrel and dance.
  4. Phrase Him with strings and pipe.
  5. Phrase Him with sounding cymbals.
  6. Phrase Him with clashing cymbals.
