Phrase God According to Your Ability

Click here to read Psalms 148.

In this Psalm we see perhaps for the first time, the acknowledging of the fact that not all people are gifted the same. Here the Psalmist gives a universal call for all people to phrase God, each according to his ability. He calls upon those who have gone on before, who are of the House of God, to phrase Him. He also calls upon those who have, like the rich man in the parable, gone on to Hades to phrase God for now they know of his power and judgment. He especially calls upon his own people to phrase Him for the choosing of them to be His people. So we are to phrase Him to the best of our ability.

  1. Phrase Him with trumpet sound.
  2. Phrase Him with lute and harp.
  3. Phrase Him with tumbrel and dance.
  4. Phrase Him with strings and pipe.
  5. Phrase Him with sounding cymbals.
  6. Phrase Him with clashing cymbals.
