This is a Psalm of triumph, of victory over the enemies of Israel. But it is applicable to all who find victory through God over their problems. Some apply this to the time David got final victory over the defenders of Jerusalem and took control over it and established his government there. But it also speaks of the future, to the establishment of the Kingdom of Christ, who in the chariot of the Gospel, goes forth to conquer. For this, we must phrase Him.
