Jenny is unpacking boxes in the kitchen area late on March 27, 2006, when she comes across a wedding photo with her husband. She starts to cry, then her daughter Sairie comes in, claiming there's something in the closet. Jenny takes her back upstairs and checks the closet, even putting the chair in front of it. Sairie doesn't like the house, but Jenny promises that they'll get used to it and come to like it, even be very happy in it. When Jenny heads back downstairs to unpack some more, she hears scratching noises. Afraid it's rats, she heads downstairs to the basement. After looking around, she comes across a chest of old photos. Written on the back of one of the family says "The Winchesters. John, Mary, Dean, and Little Sammy." Sairie screams bring Jenny running back to her daughter's bedroom, to calm her down once more before she can go back to sleep.
On March 29th, two young men show up on her doorstep, introducing themselves as Sam and Dean Winchester. They were wondering if they could see their old place. Jenny thought it interesting, since she found some of their old photos the other night. She invites them in and introduces them to her children, They talk a bit with her. She tells them she's there for a fresh start, but she's not too happy with some of the issues. When they press her, she tells them about the old wiring with the flickering lights, the scratching she hears in the basement that's rats, and the backed up sick. Sairie wants to know if they had the thing in their closet when they lived here, and Sam assured Sairie he didn't have anything in his closet. Jenny assures her she was dreaming, even when she claimed she wasn't - that it really was a figure on fire that came into her bedroom. They left soon afterwards.
Jenny was finally able to get a plumber to come by and look at her sink. After leaving him alone in the kitchen to work, something happened and the sink rips apart the plumber's hand. Later she's on the phone with the company, who is claiming she's liable for the hand, when she hears the scratching noises again. She tells the company she has to call them back and hangs up. Telling Ritchie she will be right back, Jenny goes hunting for the source of the scratching, hoping to find the rats. But she finds nothing, and comes back defeated. However, she is horrified to not find Ritchie anywhere, and goes searching frantically for him. Only after spotting spilled milk from the refrigerator does Jenny open the door and sees her baby sitting on the shelf. She picks him up and silently sobs, thankful she found him in time.
Sam and Dean are back, with a friend named Missouri. They were hoping to show her the old house, but Jenny is too rattled to be polite, and she doesn't want to let them in. Missouri, however, tells Jenny that they can help her stop what's in the house that wants to hurt her family. Jenny trusts them, and lets them into the house. They go up to Sairie's bedroom for a bit, and then thank her and leave. That night they come back, telling Jenny that everything will be over soon but she needs to take her kids out to a movie. Jenny is a bit uncomfortable doing this, but she takes the kids to the movie.
When she comes home, it is to find the house in a complete mess. Missouri tells Dean to clean up, but she and Sam help and afterwards they leave, telling her that everything is good now. Laying in bed reading a bit, she's tired finally and rolls over to go to sleep. However, the bed comes alive and starts bouncing up and down with her in it! She finally manages to stumble out of the bed, and over to the window, pounding on the window to call for help. She heads for the bedroom door, but the door will not open. She tries to call for help again at the window, when Dean is in her hallway and kicks her bedroom door in. She won't leave without her kids, but he assures her that Sam will grab them so Jenny heads downstairs with Dean and out the front door. Sairie comes out with Ritchie, but Sam didn't make it. Dean races back to her front door to try to kick it in, but it won't budge, so he begins to take an axe to it and chop a hole in it. Jenny holds the kids to her, and sees Dean climb into the hole in her front door. After some time, both Dean and Sam come out, and they assure her this time it's really over.
The next morning Jenny gives the chest of old Winchester photos to Dean, who thanks her for them. She thanks Dean and Sam, and Missouri, before going back inside.
