Joanna comes in one evening in June 2006 to find Michael helping a man to check in. She asks him to go give his brother supper, which he complains about but finally does. She checks him - Kris Warren - in a room with two queens, with another guy. He seems to be thinking about something while being checked in, but then he signs the forms and the credit card receipt.
That night Asher comes down real sick, and has to be taken to the hospital. Joanna comes rushing home to take care of last minute items, grabbing some things to take, and telling Michael instructions. Michael wants to see Asher, but she needs him there and drops her purse. The other guy picks up her purse, and Kris offers to drive her to the hospital because she's in no condition to drive. Kris is nice, and stays with her for most of the day before leaving.
That night she stays in the hospital with Asher, and the next morning he's so much better. She drives home to check up on Michael. He says nothing happened, and she tells them all the good news - the other kids are getting better as well, although Dr. Hydecker must've been sick because he wasn't there. Joanna offers to drive Michael to see Asher, and so leaves before the two guests do.
