Biography
Marshall Hall is swimming in the pool by himself for exercise. Afterwards, he is getting dressed in the Men's Locker Room, when he catches a glimpse of someone in the mirror. Not seeing anyone, he continues to get dressed, only to find his watch has stopped. The lights start going out. He turns and finds someone there. He runs to try to escape it, running into Jason and begging for help. He collapses on the side of the pool, still screaming "No!", where Jason calls for him to relax. Marshall dies at 4:17pm, and Jason starts CPR.
Marshall Hall died to give Dean Winchester life.

- Marshall Hall's scenes were deleted from the aired episode, but can be seen in the "Deleted Scenes" on the DVD set.
- The pool clock stops at exactly 4:17pm, and hasn't worked since.
- The "Ford City Tribune" newspaper article that Sam found in Sue Ann LeGrange's book carries the headline: "OPENLY GAY TEACHER WINS LAWSUIT - Strong Message Sent to Nation's School Boards - Debate Continues - School Trustees Demand Equal Gender Policy." It also shows Marshall's picture.
