Two reporters from the Weekly World News asked if they could interview the Sheriff about the murder investigation. He gives them the official spiel that it is ongoing, and that's all he can share with the press at this time. The taller one asks about a murder last week and Christina Flannigan who was found two days ago, which he confirms. A young woman knocks to let him know his time with them is up and he is needed elsewhere. As he excuses himself the other one asks about the cattle found dead and drained - over a dozen cases. The sheriff is confused, but they ask if the cow mutilations and the murders could be ritualistic, or satanic cult stuff. Sheriff laughs, thinking they are kidding but they aren't. He explains - cow drops, left in sun, in 48 hours bloat will split it open just about surgical. Bodily fluids fall into the ground and get soaked up because of gravity. He jeers at their Satanic theory, before asking what paper they work for again. They can't give him a straight answer, so he throws them both out.
