Rev. Roy LeGrange is a faith healer pastor, and the husband of Sue Ann LeGrange. He is also blind from cancer that he had previously, but once he awoke from his coma, he found he could heal people. |

Roy is helped up to the lectern by his wife, Sue Ann. He starts his sermon, but a young man comments on Roy looking into wallets, not realizing Roy could hear him. Roy asks for his name, Dean. Roy, after looking into Dean's heart, calls Dean to the stage to be healed. Dean at first refuses, but he finally comes forward, and he stands next to Roy. Dean tells him that he's not exactly a believer, but Roy smiles and informs him that he will be. He calls for the crowd to pray with him, and places his hand on the side of Dean's head. Just like in the other healings, Dean falls over, and Roy knows that Dean is healed.
The next day Dean shows up at the LeGrange's house, asking questions. Roy and Sue Ann answer Dean's questions about the miracles, what had happened to Roy, God blessing Roy by healing people, and how much the flock is growing. Dean asks one final question - Why me? Roy tells him that he looked into Dean's heart, and that he is a young man with an important purpose with a job to do, and it isn't finished.
After Dean's visit, Sue Ann helps Roy lay down to rest before the next service. At the next service, Roy, with the Lord's help, chooses the elderly man with emphysema to be healed. The audience prays with him, and the healing happens.
Before the next service, Sue Ann, with the help of another man, helps Roy leave the house and head over to the tent church. Roy calls up Layla. Layla eventually stands next to Roy for healing. Before Roy can heal Layla, however, Dean calls out "Fire" and the tent is evacuated. Roy, after leaving the tent, is approached by Mrs. Rourke. He tells Mrs. Rourke that he will heal Layla tonight.
At the private service with just a few of the flock surrounding him and Layla, Roy lays his hand on Layla to begin to pray for healing. At first, it seems to be working, but then nothing happens. Roy is confused, and calls out for Sue Ann. It seems Roy can no longer heal, and his wife died of a stroke.
